Matt Jones leads the Hyperloop One Software Engineering team; tasked with providing all the software needed to manage, control, and operate a Hyperloop One system. This includes embedded software and electronics, networking, cloud data and services, and customer-facing applications.

Prior to that he spent 14 years at Jaguar Land Rover as the Director of Future Technology, leading development of electronic and software systems for the future connected autonomous vehicles. He served as a board member at the Linux Foundation and the President of the GENIVI Alliance, pushing the Linux platform across mobility and IoT devices.

As the world continues to shrink, rather than lose significance, the hyperlocal is more meaningful than ever: The interplay between local and global keeps growing.
